The Ehrlich Lab of Cell Communication
Understanding cells in search of new cures
The aim of our studies is to understand how cells interpret and commnicate with their surroundings in health and disease. Our goals are to characterize the interactions of viruses with cancer cells for development of improved oncolytic virotherapy, to unravel novel modes of virus-cell interactions in innate immunity, and to discover the molecular mechanisms of co-regulation of signal transduction and intra-cellular trafficking.
